Founded by a Maui mom of three (plus one playful puppy), The Hot Spot was created with the intention of improving the quality of life for others through a service that boosts overall health, fun, and empowerment.

Between raising kids, working in and out of the home, and still jumping on trampolines, we know how important it is to support all of our bodies' changes throughout life.

The Hot Spot offers a non-invasive chair treatment designed to strengthen the core and pelvic floor for both men and women. This innovative technology helps improve muscle tone, intimacy, and confidence. Our goal is to help you feel stronger, sexier, and more confident during every age and stage of life.

The EMStrong Pelvic Therapy Chair uses High-Intensity Concentrated Magnetic Muscle Training (HICMMT) to deliver over 10,000 supramaximal pelvic floor contractions in a single 30-minute session. That's more than you could ever achieve through manual Kegel exercises alone.

What is the EMStrong Pelvic Chair?

The EMStrong Pelvic Therapy Chair uses High-Intensity Concentrated Magnetic Muscle Training (HICMMT) technology to strengthen your pelvic floor. It delivers over 10,000 supramaximal contractions in a single 30-minute session — far more than you could achieve with manual Kegel exercises alone.

What should I expect during a session?

You sit fully clothed in the chair for approximately 30 minutes. The chair generates electromagnetic pulses that contract your pelvic floor muscles automatically. You'll feel very strong, rhythmic muscle contractions in your entire pelvic region and core. There is no pain, no downtime, and no recovery period — you can return to your normal activities immediately.

How many sessions do I need?

A typical treatment course is 6 sessions over 3 weeks (twice weekly). Many clients notice improvements after just one session. Maintenance sessions every 3–4 months help sustain results. We will work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your goals.

Is the treatment safe?

Yes. The EMStrong chair is FDA-cleared for treating urinary incontinence. However, the treatment is not suitable for everyone. People with cardiac pacemakers, metal implants near the pelvic area, or who are pregnant should not use the chair. We require all clients to complete a brief health screening before their first session.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing — you remain fully dressed during the entire session. Please avoid activewear with metal fibers (some athletic brands infuse metal into fabrics, which can cause discomfort). Remove any jewelry near the pelvic area. If you are unsure about your clothing, we will provide a treatment garment.

Is this treatment for men too?

Absolutely. Pelvic floor health affects everyone. Men benefit from reduced urinary urgency, improved pelvic muscle endurance, enhanced blood flow, and core strengthening. The treatment is the same — fully clothed, 30 minutes, no downtime.

How much does a session cost?

Please contact us for current pricing and package options. We offer individual sessions as well as treatment packages. Payment is accepted via Square (credit/debit cards) both online and in person.

We are located inside The Royal Lahaina Resort on Kaanapali Beach, West Maui — Spot 5, across from the parking area and gym. Easy to find and convenient for both residents and visitors.

Do I need to do anything before my appointment?

Please complete our digital waiver and health screening online before your visit. Stop by the restroom to empty your bladder before treatment for the most comfortable experience. For your first session, plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can discuss your goals.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations may be subject to a $25 fee. We understand things come up — just give us a call or text and we will work with you.
